Twilight from Edward's point of view. Great read!
I really loved reading the 12 chapters Stephenie Meyer posted to her website after they were illegally leaked to the internet by an unnamed person... I hope she will eventually be able to return to this story and finish the book!
Sooo… I am officially up to date with Twilight!
I was really hoping to have strong feelings about Midnight Sun, but honestly, it was very middle of the road for me. I still like the OG twilight and new moon more than this one, but I did prefer it to breaking dawn and eclipse.
Edward wasn’t as unbearable imo as people acted like he was, but his version didn’t really add much to the story.
I’m v here for New Moon from Eddie’s perspective though! Will I sob? Fingers Crossed! Lol

This was the book I didn’t know I needed!! I absolutely loved it
Twilight being what it was, I had very high expectations for Midnight Sun, and it did not disappoint me. Although it felt familiar, the story from Edward’s perspective was truly a new tale. The more I read, the more questions I had. “How does he react to Jacob? What was Charlie thinking?” It was addicting knowing the events that took place, but having a different narration along with never-before-heard thoughts by every character (except Bella, of course). If you are concerned this book won’t be worth the read, I can assure you, Midnight Sun brings a new element that has left me desperate for Meyer to continue the series from Edward’s perspective (however unlikely it may be). Well done Stephanie, you’ve captivated me again!
