A good book!! It was a nice easy day read. I truly love how absolutely in love Alice is with Nick that she couldn’t fathom not still being with him after the amnesia. I also, really enjoyed that she had a fresh perspective on all of her relationships and was able to see her own faults (after she regained her memories I also liked that she wanted to keep this fresh perspective while still doing her motherly duties). I wonder if she got the ring back, because at that point I feel like she deserved it lol, even if it was ugly.
It was alright. I didn't really find myself caring for any of the characters. In fact, most of them made me feel annoyed. The story didn't go where I expected it to... I do think I went into this book with the wrong expectations and that affected how I experienced this book.
Rather depressing read for me. A few twists in plot but not enough to recommend this book. September 2014 bookclub selection.
Why did I keep reading this boring book? I was expecting some sort of twist or something to come about, but spoil alert! Nothing ever happens. What a waste of time.
