Great book! I would say it isn't as great as the first (Slammed) however still very heartwarming with relatable moments. The character development is great and lots of hurdles are in the way of the main characters. However, I would read this book again. Their love can overrule anything that comes their way
“We continue kissing until we get to the ‘point of retreat’...We don’t like to get carried away when we aren’t alone in the house…When we catch ourselves taking things too far, one of us always calls retreat.”
“I’ve got an old best friend who’s dating the girl I spent two years of my life with. My new best friend is freaking out about becoming a dad. My girlfriend isn’t speaking to me. I’ve got class in the morning with the very reason my girlfriend isn’t speaking to me. My eleven-year-old neighbor gives better advice than I do. I’m feeling a tad bit defeated right now.”
“It always looks like one being hit is the only one hurt. They never show the damage it does to the hand doing the hitting…Sometimes it feels good to have your biggest fears discounted with a simple compliment.”
Beautiful, amazing, “bemazing,” Colleen Hoover’s Slammed series is “sabotaging the stars.”
