I needed a good quick read and this one was thrilling enough to do it! I was getting disappointed in the middle but she made it worth it in the end. So many emotions!
So many beautiful things I can say about this book. Definitely a MUST READ! This book tells a love story of tragedy and hope. The fact that this is a series gave this book a 10/10 for me because I needed absolutely needed more.
This is not an exaggeration—I finished this book in about six hours. Those six hours were dedicated entirely to immersing myself in its content, and I can confidently say that they had a profound impact on my life. It felt like I embarked on a journey alongside Lily, experiencing love, betrayal, laughter, smiles, tears, and mourning throughout the story.
Colleen Hoover skillfully addressed the sensitive subjects of domestic abuse and gaslighting, highlighting the challenges individuals face when confronting these issues. I deeply appreciate and admire her courage in writing this novel, knowing it was a deeply personal and emotional endeavor. I not only admire her for this but am also grateful that she took on the task. This novel serves as a crucial vehicle for raising awareness of the true feelings and experiences of those enduring or having endured such trauma. It brilliantly portrays the difficulties of escaping these situations and provides insight into recognizing them.
I loved It Ends With Us, a book that tore my heart apart before making it whole again.
