This is such a fun and unique take on Cinderella and Rebecca Soler was such an awesome narrator. I really enjoyed the intersections of issues Cinder faces and discusses, and I hope it leads people to think about real-life intersectional hostilities people face every day. I definitely understand why this series is a tried and true favorite for so many readers, and I'll be picking up the rest of this series shortly!
A unique and thoroughly creepy story. I can usually anticipate what's next, but this book kept me guessing.
I do feel that the pacing could have been quicker -- there are lots of unnecessary tangents, and the story doesn't really pick up until slightly past halfway. Not sure if I'll finish the series at this point, but an enjoyable read nonetheless.

This book. I have some thoughts and feelings. So I listened to this book because that’s my life with little kids. If I did not listen to this book and enjoy the narrator, I don’t think I would have finished it. I tried reading some of it and I kept getting distracted to prevent myself from reading it. But while I listened to it I was interested and wanted to continue listening. It was a very different take on Cinderella, but I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the difference and the sci-fi ness of the story. It was a good book.
