Although Patroclus is outcast from his home for disappointing his father he manages to be the only mortal who can keep up with the half-God Archilles. Even though many will know the facts behind the story the telling is fresh and engaging.

I know I finished this a while ago, but I needed to express how much I love this book. This is hands down my favorite book of all time and it hits every note I wish a story could. Even if you don’t accept the ending’s meanings the way I do, I still see it for what I want it to be. No spoilers here so I won’t elaborate. But wow. I love. This. BOOK!
