I just fell in love with the characters and the story. Though some of it could be a bit predictable I didn’t mind. I want to read another one of her books
This was my first Abby Jimenez book. I have to say I am hooked. I loved these two characters as a couple. Daniel and Alexis are funny and interesting. The side characters made me laugh. I also wanted to learn more about them.I have already purchased Yours Truly. I am hoping to start that book soon.
Beautiful story, great writing, but such a slow burn. It took me a whole month to read because of the slow build up of the story. I guessed the ending shortly after starting, but who truly reads these books for the shock factor? They’re all kind of predictable, but we love them for the characters. These characters will forever have my heart. I related so much to practically all of them. Abby’s writing has a way of easing you into a bond with characters that you don’t realize is happening until the book is done. I finished the book thinking “what happened to him?” “How did she move on?”. If it wasn’t for the slow burn this would be an easy 10 out of 10.
Somewhat slow and predictable. Loved Chloe and Hunter. Alexis annoyed me an insy teensy bit. The end was cute though, having hope for the second book!🙏
