Words cannot express the emotions I'm feeling right now... I feel like a part if me died inside after Cinna, Finnick <3, and primrose died ;( and again when Peeta yells about katniss being and mutt and stuff. His unconditional love for her... Lost. And then Buttercup protects katniss in the end! So sweet but she totally loses it and is so much like Haymich. Her shooting Coin was pretty predictable though. I can't believe Gale got over her and left Katniss so quickly!!!!!!!!! anyways the book kinda left me heartbroken and idk what I'm going to do with myself anymore... I'm sure I'll find something new to read though
Didn't want this to be over
The overall book was good, though slightly confusing, why did Catness kill Coin?
Another re-read! Just remembering that Katniss is 17 years old while experiencing the worst trauma and war you could imagine…It’s insane and I love her as a character. Such an important young, strong, female character in literacy today. Also the ending breaks me every time…that epilogue…It’s a messy book without any light but it’s exactly what it’s supposed to be. All my respect to Suzanne Collins. (also, Gale is a gigantic asshole)
sobbed for the last 100 pages read with caution
