High expectations just weren’t met with this unstructured meandering accompaniment through Arthur less’ life, travels, mediocre work and romances. I didn’t connect with him, didn’t enjoy the writing, there weren’t any other meaningful enough characters to save it either. Just meh.

The concept was interesting but sometimes the book meandered. I most enjoyed the humorous moments.
