I think I spent most of this book with a goofy smile on my face.

This book just really didn't do it for me. I thought the romance was kinda cute BUT I think it was a huge mistake to introduce a groundhogs day/time loop plot and then just.... drop it. It made for a very strange story overall. Its never explained, and I think it raised more questions than is worth it for the plot point. The whole universe/time itself is bending to help one random girl in Utah date a guy she's been crushing on for years?

Also I'm sure this is a trope of the genre, but I really was not a fan of how quickly Andrew went from "i never thought of you like that" to her being the love of his life/them having sex like two days later, followed by them getting engaged less than six months later in the epilogue. This followed by my discomfort with the main romance being centered around a young woman who has been pining after a family friend since they were children. It honestly made me a little uncomfortable. I can't really put my finger on why but when part of Mae's growth in the story was learning to let go and not cling so hard to the past, the fact that the resolution was dating a guy she's been in love with since they were kids felt like a step back.

A perfect holiday read! It definitely felt like Christmas and gives you those cheesy hallmark movie vibes, which is just what I wanted for the holiday season this year.

The only things that I didn’t really love in this book was that 1. It was hard to keep up with all the characters & their names. I could keep up with the 4-5 main ones, but all the others I was constantly confusing. 2. The whole time-travel shenanigans was never really clearly explained as to how or why it happened.

Other than that - I love it! Really recommend for a holiday read.
