Flying Angels: A Novel

As a woman in the military (Air Force!) the cover caught my eye and I decided I needed to read this book. It did not disappoint. A bit far fetched in some parts but such a good read.

This book is historical fiction based on real life squadron that was nicknamed the Flying Angels. These women were nurses who were a part of crews that flew on planes to help rescue men on the front lines during WWII. It was so bittersweet and well written. I love WWII anything and even this I felt was a lovely representation of that era.
