A second chance at love!
Toure and Niomi had always had an attraction for each other when they met during their college years. However, they could only explore or develop a friendship at the time.
Years later, both are successful in their careers and contribute to their alma mater whenever asked. As a result, the school has invited them to help celebrate Homecoming Weekend. Toure and Niomi use this opportunity to discuss their friendship back then and explore whether they still have those feelings.
Coming Home not only explores the relationship between Toure and Niomi. There is Toure and his daughter, who is the Homecoming Queen. They are farther away than he would like, but this weekend could be a start to getting better.
I immensely enjoyed how the story is written; it leaves one feeling as though they are really at Homecoming Weekend!
