§ Bound by Honor is a story of an arranged marriage between two previously feuding Italian mafia houses. At the threat of other large organizations the future head for the New York mob house, Cosa Nostr is set to marry the prettiest girl in the Chicago Outfit.
# I enjoyed the story my only issue (and it’s a big one ) I didn’t feel like much actually happened I felt like throw out the whole story Luca was just trying to finally sleep with Aria but at the same time I liked the couple and the book did a good job in explaining the two mafia families and preparing the world and the scene for the next stories
DNF @ CHAP 9

Holy shit it's such a shame that this book belongs to the mafia trope. What an embarrassment.
I disliked Luca from the first page, in my mind he was just this greasy and arrogant punk who thought of himself like he is the king of the world.
But Aria made it worse, she made me drop this book so quick. The fact that her husband, newly wedded husband cheated on her didn't matter to her after he told her his father made him lose his virginity at 13 because all she could do was feel bad for him: That’s horrible.
Where is your spine, woman girl? Where is that anger that you felt when you saw him screwing his side chick? Where is the thought that you'd rather castrate your husband than to sleep in the same bed as him again????? Where is the brain cells of the main characters in this book??????
I don't care if he was remorseful and fixed his shit later in the book or not but the fact that he tried to justify his cheating is what ticked me off: How can I be cheating when we don’t have a real marriage? I can’t even fuck my own wife. Do you think I’ll live like a monk until you decide you can stand my closeness? I mean what do you think, asshole??
Even her sister has a better spine than her. It's absolutely ridiculous if I continued reading this book because it feels like two idiots put together.
Now I don't even know if the next book is worth it or not.
