What did you think of the world-building in Fourth Wing? Did the author succeed in creating a believable fantasy world where dragons and humans coexist? What aspects of the world did you find most interesting?
If you lived in the book’s world, which quadrant would you want to be part of and why? Would you consider entering the Riders Quadrant, knowing the fatal risks it entails?
How did you feel about Violet as the main character and narrator of the story? What made her complex or different from other female protagonists of fantasy books you've read before?
How did Violet’s chronic illness affect her physically, mentally, and emotionally? How did it influence her relationships with others?
What did you think of Xaden as the love interest and, initially, antagonist of the story? What made him a compelling and complex character? How did he change and grow throughout the story?
Enemies to lovers is a common romance trope. What did you think of how it was executed in this book? Did you find the reasons that Violet and Xaden initially disliked each other credible? Did the way in which they ultimately came together ring true for you?

Violet had a very different relationship with her mother versus her father. How do these relationships shape her into the woman she is today? Compare and contrast Dain and Xaden's treatment of Violet. In what ways do they support and push her, and in what ways do they hold her back?
In the cutthroat environment of the Riders Quadrant, Violet chooses compassion and mercy over and over, from when she switched boots with Rhiannon to when she lets her assailants live.
