The world is a wondrous place filled with natural and wild beauty and this collection is the perfect reminder to slow down, to truly see and to deeply listen to the wonder that surrounds.

A collection of personal essays, each one featuring a wonder of the world. The author’s love of science, nature, and poetry are felt on each page and the illustrations of each wonder are gorgeous. As someone who already spends every day stressing about climate change, I found this a difficult and sad read at times. I wish people who didn’t worry enough would read this.

Beautiful and easy to read. Some stories certainly stronger and more enjoyable than others though. The illustrations add a wonderful layer as well. This is a book of hope and beauty!
