The writing was wonderful. I fought back on not trying to guess the ending but I definitely gasped at one or two parts. Not for the family to read but for the dark corners away from the public maybe?

TW: incest, rape, murder, miscarriage, parentification, sexual abuse and child sexual abuse and the romanticization of it all. I couldn't coherently put my thoughts into words because every time I have to relive this bullshit, I get mad again and I'm tired. Overall, I really enjoyed it. The writing style made even the most uncomfortable parts easy to read. The author created intense emotional passages that hit hard and fast. My mind is still out of sorts...
