Didn’t really seem to capture my attention. Wasn’t bad, it was interesting, just wasn’t one of my favorites. Kinda felt like it was predictable

What a beautiful, horrifying retelling of The Fall of the House of Usher! It's short and therefore a quick read, but the characters are rich and detailed. The creep factor is high but the narrator and the doctor add a sense of humor through it, as well. I loved every second of this.

Although it isn’t a long book I absolutely loved it! It’s a perfect story of Horror and Mystery. Reminds me a little of a haunted house with The Last Of Us. Definitely recommend.

Kept my attention and was a quick read, just not one I was very invested in by the end. However the author did well with setting a creepy horror tone to the story.
