The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner, Book 2)

Book two in the blockbuster Maze Runner series that spawned a movie franchise and ushered in a worldwide phenomenon! And don't miss The Fever Code, the highly-anticipated series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built! Thomas was sure that escape from the Maze would mean freedom for him and the Gladers. But WICKED isn't done yet. Phase Two has just begun. The Scorch.
The Gladers have two weeks to cross through the Scorch--the most burned-out section of the world. And WICKED has made sure to adjust the variables and stack the odds against them.
There are others now. Their survival depends on the Gladers' destruction--and they're determined to survive.
Friendships will be tested. Loyalties will be broken. All bets are off. The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, and Maze Runner: The Death Cure are all now major motion pictures featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O'Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. Also look for James Dashner's edge-of-your-seat MORTALITY DOCTRINE series! Praise for the Maze Runner series:

While this was still a good book, I didn’t quite enjoy it as much as The Maze Runner. The first half kept my attention but towards the end I was just ready for it to be through, and the ending wasn’t exciting to me
I would still recommend it to anyone who has already read The Maze Runner, and I plan on finishing the rest of the series!

Predictable. The movie was better.

Great book! Really keeps you guessing, the twists and turns are fantastic. There were some fairly scary horror type scenes in it too - the "hello noses!" scene was terrifying :L At this point I pretty much trust no one, not even Thomas. I can't wait to read The Death Cure, but it's not out for another 3 months here :( Oh well, if it's half as good as this one it'll be worth the wait.
1. I would say that this book was almost as good as the first Maze Runner but it was still a good one because we get a whole new setting and a new story of the series.
2.This book is the continuation of the first book, when they escape the maze they figure out that there is a deadly virus all over the world.
3.In the main character change through out the book by7 becoming more of a leader than before.
4. I would recommend this book to summon who likes the Maze runner series and likes zombie apocalypses.
