'The Maidens: The new thriller from the author of the global bestselling debut The Silent Patient'

Devoured this in one day while working, it was amazing! Gave me chills, goosebumps, all of it. One of the people who I had guessed was part of the killing but the twist was the other person involved. That professor though definitely was majorly suspicious. I loved Fred's character, he seemed suspicious too at times but I loved that he was a goofy clumsy dork with a big heart.

Anything by Alex Michaelides is great! Intense thriller that has you thinking you know where the story is going and switches it up to something you never thought capable
