I read hotel Nantucket and didn’t really enjoy it. This book was far far better! I wish I read it in the summer because clearly this author’s entire vibe is beach reads, however, it was still great! I loved the plot and the characters. I love how the author uses so much description that you feel like you are there. I also like how current this author is. Things that were trending just last year are mentioned. So even though Nantucket gives you a faraway and unattainable feel, you still are able to relate to the emotions and story lines. I would wait until the weather gets nicer… and then put this towards the top of your list!

I got to chapter 28 and couldn't force myself to keep going. I like the plot but cannot get into the characters.

As always, Elin Hilderbrand delivers another awesome summertime read! I really enjoyed all of the characters and the book's premise: "the five Star weekend." It wouldn't be summer without a great Elin Hilderbrand read!
