I think I understand why I didn't think Volume 1 was that great. It was too juvenile. It was a thin plot with characters I didn't care about and most of the content felt too juvenile for me to yuk at.

Volume 2 uses many of the same devices, yet it felt...different somehow. I started to get a better feel for the characters. I actually laughed a few times (especially while reading the Sex Tips section at the end). I cared a bit about where this is heading. The first volume was all juvenile sex talk. This was some juvenile sex talk, some good talk about mental health/depression, a great question about what made a dude want to be an Ob-gyn, real relationship stuff, and a more fleshed out story on porn star Jazmine St. Cocaine (no, she did not have daddy issues).

I surprised myself by actually liking this. I still really don't care much about the bad guys/Sex Police or the motives there, but I'm enjoying everything else around that. Glad to know I've not turned into a total prude just yet.
