Say You Swear

The only reason this received 2 stars is because Noah is the most amazing character in the book. I do not know WHO is reading this book and rating it so highly, but I barely made it through. The writing is juvenile, the language is horrendous, and this is absolutely made for teenagers. The worst tropes happened, the story was pretty predictable. UGH. I will say, the last 100 pages were the best but JEEEEEZ it was a struggle.

Do not read this book unless you want a good cry. The MMC is a sweet cinnamon roll and the love triangle aspect was not as distasteful as I usually find it. The final act was definitely sad and frustrating, but it did work out to a sweet resolution. My one major criticism is that these 18 year olds were gifted a beach house and the FMC's brother had a Tahoe (at 18). Maybe it is my middle class upbringing, but it just hit me as unrealistic. If I had as much money as this family, I don't know if I would be trusting my 18 year olds with a house and a new big fancy SUV until they were full fledged adults and were paying an accountant to do their own taxes.

YALL. When I tell you I have no words…. This book left me with a book HANGOVER. I love every inch of this book…. All 674 pages of it. This author is known to have the sweet romance with huge plot twists at the end, and lawwwd did she deliver that. This is a book that will forever stick with you. It gave me literal chills. And NOAH FREAKING RILEY. That’s all I have to say because IYKYK. One of my top favorite books ever!!!!!
