I listened to the audio book and enjoyed the book and the performance. Yes, you need to suspend disbelief on how the world is likely to act in a crisis. If only we were likely to manage a cohesive response! Anyway, ignore that and it is fun with physics and unexpected heart.

I would give it 6 stars if I could. Brilliant, fun, suspenseful, emotional. It's technically sci fi, but it feels like three or four genres in one. My favorite book this year.
