This was mildly entertaining, and has a great collection of odd photos... but read Neil Gaiman or Clive Barker instead for more satisfaction.
I was reading one of these to my kids - and at the time we were on the last in the series. There used to be only three. We were so caught up in the story that we brought the book everywhere. We finished it in the waiting room of a doctor’s office. My youngest was eight or ten. When the book was over, he wailed, “Oh no! What will we ever read now?!” I relate. When something is this good, it’s hard to picture the next read.
