MESS: (Book 5) (The Hlomu Series)

It took a lil while to figure out which Zulu boy is the book is focus of the book since the last book didn't follow the same logic. But this time we are introduced to Mqoqi and Lahliwe as they navigate their challenging relationship. Towards the end I found myself having a soft spot for the Zulu boy as he didn't feel he belonged with his family and misunderstood and only related by blood. His final moments sadly show that and only Lale is there for him. Hlomu is still at the center of the Zulu boys lives as we discover his secret love for the matriarchy of the family. Clearly the story continues in the final installment of the series still to be released.
