Malignant

Oof, this book is a kick in the gut. The author himself gives a warning at the beginning, and he means it. Malignant is violent, dark, bleak, and powerful. You think the story is going to be about exciting scenes and good vs. evil, but it turns out to be much more complicated and timely than that. The author gives a great, heartfelt explanation at the end, so stick around for it. Malignant doesn't pull any punches, and if you can stomach it, it's a great read.
