So good that this story has been made into a blockbuster film. It is truth telling that deepened my understanding of the plight of Indigenous people and why the US is the basket case it has become. See the movie, the book is a bit of a hard slog.

Very interesting! A tragic part of history for the Osage as well as the United States.

Who knew that Oklahoma had such a dark history. A page turner about white people who just can't seem to let anyone else get their hands on a fortune without trying to pry it away from them. In this case, from their cold, dead hands.

Excellent account of how indigenous people were abused and how there was de facto approval and acceptance of horrendous acts.

Gripping true story about an awful period in history that was long forgotten.
