⚠️ Sexual Assault Quotes 🗨️ : “She used to think that only parents can understand the sort of love that swallows you up, but now she wondered whether it was only mothers who did.” Liked ✅ - The side character twist - Bonding of aunt and niece Didn't Like ❌ - So Confusing - Many character perspectives - Ending was horrendous More in depth review at patreon.com/salinaandtanya

Better than girl on the train but the need for animal
Cruelty I have no idea?! Wouldn't say it was possible to know who the killer was and if you did it would be an educated guess so for that reason it's worth a read as far as thrillers go! Not a bad book!

I couldn't finish it. I picked it up several times but keeping characters and timelines straight became a chore. I just didn't care how it ended or what actually happened.

Paula Hawkins is certainly a solid mystery/thriller author. Although this book was not a twisty as The Girl On The Train, it was still a page turner! The end was pretty guess-able, once you get about halfway through the book. The only complaint I had with the story was the cast of characters and how many there were. At first it was really confusing and I had to keep flipping back to remind myself who people were, I almost drew a diagram. After about 150-200 pages it begins to get easier keeping people straight.

Character development for most of the characters was solid. Plot line was solid.
I would definitely recommend this book!
