Seemed like it was going to be a fun sexy chic-lit time in the beginning, but ended up being completely heartbreaking- glad I read it though.
This is the type of book I would normally sob over but all I did was tear up because I kept having to read it in little chunks and had interruptions like my hair stylist telling me that my color was done and we needed to rinse. Uhm excuse me but I'm just getting to the most heart wrenching part! It's fine if the chemicals start burning my scalp.
I don't want to spoil a single thing in this, but I will say a couple vague things that I liked that won't give anything away:
1. There weren't any characters that I hated. They all had normal flaws and not "I'm a total psycho" flaws. I was rooting for all of them.
2. I didn't feel manipulated. This type of book frequently tries to lead you to tears by being over the top rather than have little heart-wrenching details that crush your soul out of nowhere. This was 100% the latter.
This was really sweet and sad and a bit unpredictable (please don't ruin it for yourself by reading too many reviews).
4 Stars

Everything. Everything was good! Beautiful story.
Okay this book was a rollercoaster for me. In the end, I actually really liked it. I gave it 4 stars solely on the fact it kept me on my toes, I could not put it down which is why I finished it in 3 days. I actually liked the plot/storyline, I thought it was very grabbing from the beginning. I really liked the characters and they’re personas and how everything played out. (especially Bella, the main characters best friend she was my favorite tbh). And I loved the twist at the end and how the author made everything come together! Overall a good read!
Now the ending.. kind of pissed me off.
****SPOILERS****
Now don’t get me wrong I loved the ending’s little twist, the way the author laid everything out, it just read very smooth; when she introduced the connection at the end to Dannies “dream” in the beginning it wasn’t confusing for me. So i’m happy about that.
The tiny thing that pissed me off though is that right before Bella dies of cancer. Dannie and Aaron LITERALLY kiss, and then just pretend it didn’t happen?? And then after she dies, they go to her funeral, and then they go home TOGETHER to the apartment that Bella gave her, spend the night together, and HAVE SEX THE NEXT DAY?? Yes I understand that it’s to connect to her dream in the beginning with Aaron and the apartment, I get it! But wow at least wait a little, Bella just passed away that was her fiancé!
That little bit was just irritating to read, because I loved Bella so much.
And also i thought David was perfect for Dannie I was so sad to see them split their relationship was depicted so healthy in the book.
Overall I loved it!!

This was by far one of the biggest disappointments I’ve read in some time. The characters were extremely bland and most under developed. Danni was borderline over developed because we knew just about every unimportant detail of her life. Which by the way was too perfect…almost. Her brother’s death at a young age was terribly sad but I’m not even sure why it was even a thing because it certainly did not fit the story or serve a plot purpose. After reading forever and becoming bored I was still interested in how her and Aaron would come to be and what a waste that was. Whoops! It was just grief and no explanation for why she had the dream. No mention if he had a similar dream or how all of this happened. Please save yourself and do not read.
Edit - I listened to this on Audible, which was the one saving grace. It was read by Megan Hilty and she was wonderful. Loved her voice and impressed with how she changed it to fit other characters.
