I think this is one of the first horror books I ever read. I read this as a sophomore in high school, and then a few more times over the years. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I realized this book was written in the 50s. So ahead of its time and a super easy read. If you saw the movie and hated it, you will probably love this book. Probably in my top 10.
