The similarities between Lara and I were uncanny. I loved this book as I could relate to her so much. Her struggles felt like mine. I know what it's like to be in her situation and I took similar actions, but I would not fall in love with my guy best friend. I love how the author included Tagalog text, so I was able to brush up my Tagalong reading skills. The ending left me wanting more, it was not a typical romance ending and I think that's what made it so good. It made it feel like these characters were alive and had a life outside the contents of the novel. ALSO, I WISHED IT EPILOGUE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AFTER!!!
