It’s been awhile since I finished a book and immediately wanted to turn to page one and read it again, but here I am! I devoured this book in a day and instantly fell in love with the characters, story, and world building. 🥵Aheia and Arioch *swoon* I instantly got Hades/Persephone vibes (which is my favorite always) but the story and world was completely unique in a way that had me begging for more. Our girl was fierce but with a vulnerable side that made you want to protect her at all costs. And Ari…DAMN. Morally grey, badass, and I couldn’t get enough! And the SHADOWS!!!!!! 🤯On top of that, you had a wonderfully deep lore and tons of world building. The places felt real and even though we just scratched the surface of the story, you can already feel the layers. My mind is racing trying to unravel what might come next. 🫶🏻Then there’s the secondary characters *chefs kiss* I can’t wait to learn more about this crazy band of misfits! (Especially you Lúc and Kar!) 🍯And finally…that ending!! Talk about a punch in the gut! The whole book gripped my heart and squeezed and I’m dying to see what happens next! Two words… Ruhi. Honey. Enough said!
