Is there a special handshake when you join the order of the phoenix? Like do they have some dorky dance with wands and stuff?
6th time reading illustrated version: My favorite part of this book was when Umbridge gets taken away by centaurs, and I also like when Harry forms Dumbledore’s Army. My least favorite part is when Sirius dies, but I also dislike when Umbridge bans Harry from playing quidditch and takes his broom. My favorite character is Hermione, and I also like Luna and Ginny.
This is definitely one of the best novels in this series. It's in my personal top 10. I very much enjoy how the mysteries from the Wizarding World's past are revealed in this book. Also an unexpected twist for Serius Black.

I am rereading in 2018 and holy cow Rowling saw the future when she wrote this. I know that’s because she wrote it about the past, but even so, so much in this one relates to modern politics and resulting personal interactions. This one in the series is particularly enjoyable because it’s about the resistance and the resistance leaders and headquarters.
