Ghosted

Jillian Nejat is the only dating and relationship expert on the planet who is incapable of speaking to men. If they're living, if they're breathing, it's game over.
With her bank account at zero, her career a dumpster fire, and her dating life in a ten-year slump, she moves into a tiny, dirt-cheap NYC apartment.
Unfortunately, the apartment is already occupied.
Daniel (no-last-name) is a sexy, shirtless, six-pack wielding heartthrob who is also...dead.
He isn't living. He isn't breathing. He's a ghost. He's also the only man on the planet that Jillian can talk to.
Soon, Daniel's convinced that it's his afterlife mission to resurrect Jillian's love life. He knows, if he helps her fall in love then he can move on. Jillian agrees. The last thing she needs is a Lothario ghost haunting her living room.
But then, one practice date leads to another, one confession leads to more, and suddenly Jillian fears she's falling for the one man she can never love.

I love the characters and their immediate chemistry. Hit all the marks: funny, sweet, spicy, suspenseful, mysterious, romantic. It is really well written and the level of description was on point. The more sensual or important details were in full. I love the character growth as Jillian figures out who she is and gains confidence.
The Star Trek references made my nerd heart smile.
The spice scenes were very repetitive and vanilla.
I felt the office scenes in chapter 25 were too long and unnecessary. I was getting impatient to get into the investigation of what happened to Daniel or helping him move on.
Midway through while Daniel was gone, I was getting disappointed because I wanted more falling in love moments, figuring out more of his past, or finding a way for them to be together. But then half way through I was softly hit with the plot twist. It was still a little slow though.
I was disappointed at how much of a jerk Daniel was in his present version. I would have walked away from all that. Her trying to get him to become his ghost self personality felt forced and too long. She should not have had to try to hard to get him to be a decent person and finally see her in a romantic way.
I honestly don't even remember how it ended.
