Fantastic book. Disappointed in the ending but otherwise such a fabulous read! Great writing!

It was a good story, though it was slightly repetitive and a tad slow. I didn’t realize all this has happened in our nation’s history.

As always I love Kristin Hannah’s writing. However I felt this story started slow, ended short and was quite depressing.

This will probably be one of my favorite books of the year. It was as good as the nightingale.

My advice, have the tissues handy.

Great period peice. Learned a lot about the dust bowl. Loved the character development and the bond between mother daughter.
