Fire & Blood: 300 Years Before A Game of Thrones (The Targaryen Dynasty: The House of the Dragon)

Let it be said that I did want to give this less stars because some parts were so boring BUT what self respecting book of history isn’t boring at times? The fact that GRRM can write a history book about a fictional world is actually really impressive.

I live it and it's a great story .

I started with this book as House of Dragons s. 1 was airing but at the time I hadn't read any of the Song of Ice & Fire. I still really enjoyed the book however. I loved the way the story was told as if I was reading a history book from Westeros and how the accounts of what happened can differ. After I finish Song of Ice & Fire I'll definitely be reading Fire & Blood again with a better understanding of the different houses and characters.
