It was good! I liked the way the narrative of the story was structured. Making it dialogue based allowed me to feel like the characters we’re talking to me instead of at me, it helped my understanding of where each character was coming from. It was a good and fast read:)

Really enjoyed the audio book version of this. I had a tough time following when I started reading, but the voice actors really helped with the audio book. Now my plan is to start the TV series!

If I could live in this book and understand how everything went down in more detail, I still wouldn't be fulfilled by the ending. This is the type of book that makes you want more, but know that if you got it, you wouldn't be satisfied.

This book had me feeling emotions I don’t like feeling while reading a book. When I’m reading I want to escape reality not be sucked into another one and this is what that book did, it trapped me in the 1970s with a band that is filled with drugs, love and anger.

One of the main reasons I read this book is because I want to watch the show and know what's going on. The show looks like it’s going to be the best book to movie adaptation I've ever watched. I trust Resse Witherspoon with this project and I hope it turns out as good as I imagine. I’m still sad that the lyrics are and will not be the same as in the book but I can deal with that.

Songs that I listened to while reading:
→ The Chain by Fleetwood Mac
→ You All Over Me by Taylor Swift and Gary Lightbody
→ ceilings by Lizzy McAlpine
→ Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks
→ Head Over Heels by Tears For Fears

Favorite Quotes:
“Everyone saw her. Your eye went right to her. If the rest of the world was silver, Daisy was gold.”
“I had absolutely no interest in being somebody else's muse.
I am not a muse.
I am the somebody.
End of fucking story.”
“We love broken, beautiful people. And it doesn't get much more obviously broken and more classically beautiful than Daisy Jones.”
“Passion is...it's fire. And fire is great, man. But we're made of water. Water is how we keep living. Water is what we need to survive. My family was my water. I picked water. I'll pick water every time.”
“Everything that made Daisy burn, made me burn. Everything I loved about the world, Daisy loved about the world. Everything I struggled with, Daisy struggled with. We were two halves. We were the same.”
“People say it's hard to be away from the people you love but it was so hard to be right next to him.”
