I LOVED this.
But am I allowed to?
Should I love a book this dark and bleak and depressing, one in which I knew there was no chance of a happy ending? Can I love how the good guys are still bad guys and the bad guys are really freaking bad guys?
Is it of poor taste that I smirked at an old junkie who likes to grab at women (I feel dirty and anti-feminist just typing that) and felt alive with my utter hatred towards this character even though he actually MADE MY SKIN CRAWL?
Seriously. The thought of that guy touching me makes me want to yak.
WARNING: Avoid if you can't tolerate bad language, blood, betrayal, selfishness, hot bartenders with big biceps, or life not being fair.
