Cassandra in Reverse: A Reese's Book Club Pick

A little mythology goes along way. I thought the plot was thin and predictable. Wish it had pictures to see Cassandra’s outfits! They may have been the best part of the book.

Content warning for manipulation, stalking, and related topics. I thought this book was interesting, and I liked how in the end the focus was on much more than Cassandra's relationship with her boyfriend. I liked how she grew to be more confident in herself in the end. For a while, I was pretty confused by the rules of her time travel abilities, and I don't think it's ever clearly explained why the rules are what they are. The mythology is interesting, but some of the scenes get to be repetitive.

An insightful telling of what it is like to be “different” or not typical. I enjoyed the author’s weaving of mythology into the current-day narrative.
