Behind Her Eyes is about a girl named Louise and she meets a guy in the bar and they hit it off! Then she finds out that he is going to be her boss. yikes. and then!! she meets his wife, so he is also married. Louise wants to end things but then she becomes best friends with Adele (his wife) and things go downhill from there.
This is the best thriller i have ever read. Sarah Pinborough is excellent at creating characters that are unlikable, but also you feel for them. Throughout the book you start learning more about "adele" and why she is the way she is. You find out that she was in a mental institute for a while after her parents died and she meets a guy named Rob and they become super close.
This is the most complex thriller, most thought out thriller ever. The last chapter. THE LAST CHAPTER. You find out about dreams and how there is a magical realism aspect to it as well. i loved it.
The ending left me SHOOK. You could never guess it. I read it super fast and i recommend it to everyone now. ROB WAS ADELE THE WHOLE TIME. I WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS.
