I had to skip the middle because I knew what was coming with the gift Jack gave her.

It's definitely a slow burn but I couldn't put it down towards the end.

About a third of the way in, I couldn't put this thriller down about a seemingly perfect couple, and what goes on behind closed doors

I was on my edge of the seat the whole time. I couldn't put it down.

I just finished this book and ... Let me start by saying that I’m super glad I read it, but I was completely unprepared to read it. The amount of psychological abuse alone is beyond taxing. If you’re wanting to read this one, be prepared to have a stomach ache any time you open this book. It made me mad, it disgusted me, and it was a great read. It’s not a light fun suspense book, it is a horrific, dark, disturbing book.
