A great story that contains a lot of physics theories and philosophical contemplations. It was a little difficult to follow at times with all the multidimensional theory that is put into place and I struggled to understand the fullness of the characters. But that just made me want to read more, to read again, to understand.
This book made me feel dumb in the best ways.

I can't quite decide whether I liked this book. I was certainly drawn into the plot and the characters, but there were lots of parts that I couldn't quite grasp in terms of the writing.. which made me have to reread sentences or go back a few pages. I think this took away from the actual enjoyment of the story. I think I will get the second book - if anything to see how it all ends!

3.75 stars. An interesting concept, VERY challenging to read. There is ultimately not a lot of plot in nearly 400 pages as this book is mostly about characters and their thoughts and choices as they enter this magical society. So I would say only read if you’re willing to put in the effort that it takes to really slow down and digest this book and learn the characters.
