It was a little hard to keep my attention in some parts but overall an interesting point of view from a President. I enjoyed the laid-back take on his reflection.
First and foremost let me say that while this was definitely an enjoyable read, it was in no way what I was anticipating. I was thinking it would be an in depth look at his childhood, life, and relationships. It was much more policy based than I realized. I went into it assuming it would be Obama discussing his life, but it turned out to be a detailed look at memorable policy implemented during his time at the White House. As someone who loves Obama, it was for sure worth a listen. Had I been reading the physical book I think I would have tapped out as soon as he got into the details on policy. The audio is good though, bc Obama has such a great voice it makes listening to 29 hours of policy doable.
Side note- there are a few choice words that felt very odd to hear President Obama say. Lol.
