I really wanted to love this book, but there were some things that just didn't work for me.
1. The POV switch. It was really jarring. The second half needed to be told in third person, I get, but i think the first half should've also been third person. It was a really awkward switch.
2. The pacing - the first half was kind of boring, and the 'mystery' didn't become a major plot point until halfway through.
3. The twist didn't really pay off for me. There was no build up, and it seemed pretty random.
