You asked. We delivered.
In our recent Bookclubs members survey, book clubbers expressed interest in a service that automatically mails a copy of your latest book club book. This spring, we're launching Bookclubs Shelf Service, a book delivery service that ensures you never fall behind on your book club reading again! You'll receive an email from Shelf Service when your book club meeting is scheduled to confirm your shipment. You'll have time to opt-out if you already have a copy of the book, borrowed it from the library, or need to save money. To skip, simply reply to the confirmation email within 24 hours.
How It Works
To sign up for Shelf Service simply choose your club and input your payment information. When your meeting is scheduled, you'll receive an email from Shelf Service confirming your shipment. To skip, simply reply within 24 hours. Then, we'll charge you and ship the book within one business day.
We’re partnering with Bookshop.org to fulfill orders. You’ll receive 10% off the publisher list price and every purchase that you make will support independent book stores, and Bookclubs. Pricing is dependent on the title, and you'll receive your book in paperback when available. The standard shipping rate is $3.99.
Future Features
We will offer Shelf Service to all Bookclubs users starting this spring. If you don’t have a Bookclubs account yet, it’s easy and free to get started here.
Based on user feedback, we plan to expand beyond print delivery to ebooks and audiobooks later this year as well as the ability to allow readers to choose their local independent bookstore to support. We'll continue to improve the program and make tech enhancements based on our user feedback. Learn more.
